Course Description

This CLE provides a “nuts and bolts” understanding of custody and visitation, while also touching on the mediation program offered through the Summit County Domestic Relations Court.

Speakers Include:
The Honorable Ronald Cable, Chief Magistrate at the Summit County Domestic Relations Court will discuss the mediation program offered through the Court.
D. Allan Asbury, Esquire, is Senior Counsel of the Board of Professional Conduct at the Supreme Court of Ohio. He will share information about the Limited Scope Retainer.
William Macchione, Coordinator for the Summit County Fatherhood Initiative, will share about the services offered through its partners.
Susan Fitch, Esquire, Staff Attorney for the Legal Assistance to Victims Unit at Community Legal Aid, will share basics of custody and visitation law.
Carla Boyle Small, Esquire, Staff Attorney for the Volunteer Legal Services Program at Community Legal Aid, will educate participants on working with pro se clients in a clinic setting.
