Online Training: Public Benefits as the Public Health Emergency Winds Down

Online training for advocates, case managers, social workers, CHWs, and others who work with low- to moderate- income Ohioans

Overview

It's time to ramp up efforts to help Ohioans protect vital public benefits they need to maintain or improve economic and health outcomes.

Attendees will be able to help clients prepare for the reimplementation of the SNAP benefit recertification process and the actions needed to appeal unfavorable decisions related to the public benefits. They will also be able to help clients prepare for the eventual ending of the public health emergency and its impact on Medicaid Benefits.

Attendees will also be able to recognize when a matter should be referred to Community Legal Aid for additional assistance.
