Advocate Training: Supporting Stability for Veterans (online CLE)

Location: online

This training is being offered by the Veterans Task force on Monday, July 26, 2021.

The Ohio Veterans Law Task Force is hosting this live interactive webinar to provide an overview of practicing before the Veterans Administration (VA), community advocacy, and discharge upgrades. This training will provide attendees with the continuing legal education required to maintain accreditation with the Department of Veterans’ Affairs (VA). It will provide advocates new to the practice of VA benefits with a tool-kit of information and legal structure to assist in VA benefits cases. It will include substantive law and practice tips from attorneys experienced in this area. The training is also intended to update advocates already practicing in the area with recent changes in VA benefits law. The intended audience are Ohio legal services attorneys and paralegals, as well as any attorneys and paralegals interested in volunteering with their local Ohio legal aid program.
