Management Team: Ken Mirkin

Ken Mirkin, a native of the Mahoning Valley, is the Director of Client Services. In this role, Ken is responsible for the overall management, implementation and delivery of legal services provided by Community Legal Aid. 

 

Prior to his current position, Ken was the Managing Attorney of Legal Aid’s Volunteer Legal Services Program (VLSP), which supports the involvement of private practice attorneys in Pro Bono representation, along with overseeing many of Legal Aid’s outreach clinics which often rely on the engagement of the private Bar.  

 

Ken began his career with Legal Aid in 2011 representing homeowners facing foreclosure.   In 2013, Ken continued his work at Legal Aid as an Equal Justice Works Americorps Legal Fellow, focusing on assisting low income and homeless veterans with their civil legal needs.   

 

Outside of his role at Legal Aid, Ken was a past member of Mahoning Valley Leadership and is involved with local Jewish Federations.   

 

Ken is a member of all of the Bar associations within Community Legal Aid’s service area, along with State bar associations, and national Pro Bono organizations.   

 

Ken graduated from the University of Arizona and received his law degree from Stetson University College of Law in St. Petersburg, Florida,
