Clarence Darrow Court Clinic

Community Legal Aid has partnered with the Trumbull County Bar Association, the Mahoning County Bar Association, and local courts in Trumbull and Mahoning counties to meet the need of low-income residents facing housing and financially related legal issues.

Applicants do not need to have a pending legal action to qualify. If you live in Trumbull or Mahoning county and have concerns over housing or debt related issues, or if you are facing an eviction, foreclosure, or consumer/collection lawsuit you are encouraged to apply. Applicants will need to live within the jurisdiction of a participating court to qualify.

Attorney Volunteer Opportunity

You can make a difference in the lives of vulnerable Ohioans who need to know their legal options around housing and debt related matters. As a Clarence Darrow Court Clinic volunteer, you provide general counsel and advice regarding these types of legal matters. You may also assist clients in completing forms or choose to provide direct representation in their legal matter.

Volunteers receive free on-going training and support and are eligible for CLE credit for pro bono service.
