Management Team: Dawn Spriggs
Dawn Spriggs is Supervising Attorney for Community Legal Aid's HelpLine.
Dawn came to Community Legal Aid in 2005 as a volunteer and was hired as a full-time staff member in 2007. She was promoted to her current position in 2017.
Dawn has experience in representing low-income clients in a variety of matters, including housing, re-entry, estate planning, and probate. She has presented on topics including fair housing, mobile home law, re-entry, and general legal rights, all of which impact low-income residents in the region.
Outside of her role at Community Legal Aid, Dawn is Board Chair of the YWCA of Canton and is a member of the Stark County Homeless Services Collaborative, the Wayne County Housing Coalition, the Wayne County Re-entry Coalition, and the Stark County Re-entry Coalition.
Dawn earned her juris doctor degree from Case Western Reserve University’s School of Law in 2003 after living in Chicago for four years while attending undergraduate school at DePaul University.
Dawn is a native Ohioan from Stark County.
