Management Team: Laureen Moore

Laureen Moore is Managing Attorney for Community Legal Aid’s tax and public benefits projects.


Laureen first joined Legal Aid in 1985. Since then, she has served as a staff attorney, supervising attorney, managing attorney, and acting director.


Prior to joining Legal Aid, Laureen worked for Allen County Legal Services Association, where she served as a legal intern, law clerk, and staff attorney.


An active member of her home community of Canton, Laureen was a member of the 15th class of Leadership Stark County, finishing the program in 2002. She also was inducted into the YWCA of Western Stark County’s Academy of Women in 1998.


Outside of her role at Legal Aid, Laureen enjoys spending time with her family and friends.


Laureen earned her juris doctorate from Ohio Northern University College of Law in 1984, and her bachelor’s of science in criminal justice from the University of Dayton in 1979. She is a member of the Ohio State, Stark County, and Akron Bar Associations, and is a sustaining member of the National Organization of Social Security Claimants’ Representatives.
