New Programs Stabilize Familes in Transition

The VLSP received grants to offer two new family law programs in Summit and Trumbull counties.

The FATHERs Project works with Legal Aid eligible dads who have been referred by the Summit County Fatherhood Initiative. These dads have completed training using National Fatherhood Initiative curriculum and want to play an active role in raising their children.

The Trumbull County Family Court is partnering with the VLSP to offer clinics for self-represented litigants with custody, visitation, or divorce matters. Volunteers who lead a clinic receive a modest fee for service. Learn more by clicking here.

Both projects are supported by a Family Law CLE that offers training on limited scope representation. Learn more about the CLE training here.
